White wine
Tinhof Neuburger
Neuburger is indigenous to Burgenland and Tinhof devotes 6hA to it on the estate. This is a high octane wine full of stone fruit, spicy notes and richness. If the more full bodied Gruner Veltiner’s of the Kremstal or Wachau appeal to you then this is right up your street.

the producer
Erwin Tinhof
Erwin is the 11th generation of the Tinhof family making wine in the sub-region of Leithaberg, Burgenland located in Austria’s south-east corner close to the border with Hungary. Organically certified for a number of years Erwin likes to promote indigenous grapes like Neuburger, Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt. When we met Erwin’s nephew Lukas (who assists Erwin in making the wine) we were very impressed with the fruit purity and sheer drinkability of the whites and reds.
