Le Clos des Cazaux Cotes du Rhone Rouge

Le Clos des Cazaux has been in the Vache family for several generations making supple, characterful wine in the Southern Rhone. They have twin estates in Vacqueyras and Gigondas planted with old vine Grenache alongside some Syrah and Mourvedre. Their approach in the vineyard is very much low intervention (the estate is HVE certified) where they focus on sustainable enviromentally friendly methods. In the cellar the winemaking emphasis is on the fruit with very little oak being used. The resulting wines are fresh, complex and very drinkable.
