Gravieres de Sancastel 2017 Minervois

A blend of 80% Syrah & 20% Grenache, the grapes are hand-picked with selective sorting and de-stemming before vinification. Half of the fermented wine is aged in French oak for 12 months and the other half in steel and concrete tanks. The result is a balanced wine with notes of black fruit, damson, truffle and caramel. It is broad and round on the palate, powerful with silky tannins with flavours of wild berry fruit, chocolate and vanilla.
