A complex fresh and exciting rendition of Assyrtiko. It has an expressive nose of quince, almond, citrus, anise with some mont and bay. On the palate it is medium to full bodied with a nice round mouthfeel and a trademark long and fresh finish. excellent with seafood or as an apertif.

Christos Zafeirakis is the 4th generation of the Zafeirakis family to produce wine in PGI Tirnavos an area north of Athens in the foothills of Mount Olympus, Their 20hA estate is organically certified and planted mainly with the indigenous Limniona for reds and Malagousia for whites. The calling card of the estate is the complex, mineral reds they craft with Limniona which are well worth discovering!
