Corte Adami Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG

A complex and elegant rendition of Amarone, yet still plenty of power for fans of the genre.

A blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes go through the usual long passito process after which they get around a 30-35 day ferment, malolactic takes place naturally in 5hl barrels. The wine is then aged for 24 months in French oak. Lots of complex notes with trademark dark cherry combining with spicy ginger notes, wild herbs, chocolate and oriental sweet spice. It has plenty of richness and roundness on the palate with silky smooth tannins but has a lovely fresh finish that never gets out of balance. To be enjoyed on its own or with some high quality dark chocolate!
