Chateau l’Ermitage Auzan Rose
A Provencal style rosé in the skin of a Costiere de Nime wine. Made from Grenache and Cinsault it has a slightly deeper colour and more body than the typical Cote de Provence but it carries losts of minerality and complexity. Red summer berry fruit with jasmine and spicy notes this is hard to resist on a nice summers evening.

Chateau l'Ermitage
Located near the Roman cities of Nimes and Arles, winemaking at Chateau l’Ermitage goes back a very long way. Today, the not-so-old Michel and son Jerome Castillon, are the second and third generations to run this beautiful estate. With a base of deep sand, silt and pebbles, the vineyards are located on the old floodplains of the Rhone and Petit Rhone rivers. Facing south towards the Camargue and the Mediterranean, the property enjoys a marine micro-climate, cooled by the fresh sea-breezes and the edges of the Mistral wind. We have chosen Cuvee Auzan, a range of red, white and rose wines to demonstrate the quality and versatility of the wine from this unique wine-producing region, Costieres de Nimes.
