A sublime wine from 7hA of vines first planted in 1968. 100% Sangiovese organically farmed and handpicked. 50% of the wine is fermented in clay amphorae and post fermentation is in a variety of oak barrels before blending and ageing in bottle.

Castello del Trebbio
A beautiful estate close to Florence owned by Anna Baj Macario and husband Stefano Casadei. This is a property with a storied history and a great place for a tour and tasting if you happen to be in Florence. Owned originally by Pazzi family, it was subsequently ‘taken over’ by the di Medici family during a power struggle in the 15th century. In modern and happily more peaceful times, Anna’s family took over and today they farm the property organically making excellent Chiantis.
